News Item 24 - Morning sessions w/c 26 Oct 2009
Dear All,
Junior Elite, Junior Masters, Masters, JO1 & 2 morning training week commencing Monday 26th October:
Monday 26th Oct - No morning training
Tuesday 27th Oct - 5.30 to 7.30am Sharley Park
Wednesday 28th Oct - No morning training
Thursday 29th Oct - 5.00 to 6.45am at Staveley
Friday 30th Oct - No morning training
Morning return to normal Monday 2nd November.

News Item 23 - Chesterfield SC AGM
Due to the closure of QPLC and therefore no access to our notice board being available at that pool, and because of the pending strike action by Royal Mail, this year's nominations for roles at the AGM will have to be notified to me via e-mail. A list is now available by clicking here. Please could you contact me as soon as possible with details of
a) the role you wish to be proposed for
b) who is seconding the proposal
Could those people who are seconding a proposal also e-mail me confirmation of this fact. I will keep a 'hard copy' of the list with me and I will try to see people in person and obtain signatures.
The date of the AGM will be published shortly but is likely to be either a Saturday morning or Monday evening, at Brookfield.

News Item 22 - Important notice re training away from your normal squad
Dear swimmers and parents
Please ensure that the session you attend has space for you or your child
As an example a lot of jnr elite swimmers are attending Junior Masters on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. As a result Tuesday Junior Masters session is no longer available to other squads as the training of both Junior Masters and Masters is being compromised.
Unless you attend a morning session then you may only access either Wednesday or Thursday, not both. During the Queens Park closure we expect swimmers and parents to be thoughtful towards others and not selfish.
For lower squads JO1, JO2 and JO3 you may only access one level below as an example JO1 may only access one session in JO2 unless they access Thursday morning. JO3 is not available to JO1.
This is effective with immediate effect 14 10 2009

News Item 20 - Club Championships
Due to low entry numbers a number of events at this weekend's championships have been cancelled all altered. The ones affected are
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this late change.
Events 5 & 6 Boys/Girls 9yr 25m fly - this will now be run as a single event
All finals for Boys/Girls 8yrs and under have been cancelled. Therefore, event numbers 3, 4, 14, 15, 26 and 27 will be run as heat declared winners i.e. fastest swim counts
The event programme which will be available on the day will reflect these changes and as such the event numbers will be different from the original entry form but no event has changed date.We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this late change.
